Paul has been with Central Highlands since 2003 and has overseen many areas including project delivery, strategy, long-term planning, communications and account management.

Will Buchanan

Barwon Water

Will is the Chief Scientist at Barwon Water, and holds a second position as Manager Asset Systems and Environment. Will has held positions as the Interim CEO of WaterRA and is highly experienced within the water industry in roles that span a wide variety of responsibilities.

He currently manages a multi-disciplinary team in the areas of Research & Development, Systems Waterways and Catchments, Strategic Asset Management, Product Quality and Spatial Services.

Tim Wood

Melbourne Water

Tim has had a 30 year career within the water industry working across a number of disciplines including Asset Management, Project Management, Maintenance Delivery and Contract Design and Management. In the last 10 years, Tim has held a number of senior and executive positions at Melbourne Water and is currently the General Manager, Asset Management Services.

Lower Murray Water

Deb is the General Manager People and Customer at Lower Murray Water, and has over 20 years’ experience in management and human resource management across government, non for profit and private sectors including Health Services, Education and Training and Aboriginal Services.

South East Water

Charlie is responsible for leading the Liveable Water Solutions group at South East Water. This manages land development, resource recovery, liveability, connections and reliability as well as growth and strategic asset management functions of the business.

Charlie has international experience and has worked in both the private and public spheres in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Peter joined VicWater as CEO in May 2019. Peter is an environmental and social scientist with over twenty-five years of experience working in water services, natural resource management and local governance.

Andrew Jeffers

Wannon Water

Andrew has 26 years of experience across a variety of engineering and corporate roles in Victorian water corporations. This has given Andrew an in-depth understanding of the industry and how water corporations act as a business. Alongside his involvement in IWN, Andrew is the Managing Director of Wannon Water, an independent member of the Corangamite Shire Audit Committee, a Director of the Great South Coast Group and a Director of Beyond the Bell.

Westernport Water

Peter has significant leadership and management experience in public and private sector organisations, across complex environments such as government, utilities and health. Peter has held senior positions with several organisations, including Gippsland Primary Health Network, Latrobe City Council, Gippsland Water and the Department of Human Services.

IWN Program Director

Dean joined IWN as Program Director in February 2020 after being involved in the program for the past seven years. He spent the last five years as IWN Program Manager - Leak Detection, Condition Assessment & Infiltration.

Dean has 29 years of water industry experience, predominantly in operations. He has a passion for collaboration, innovative technology, and building capacity and leadership within the water industry which he plans to continue in this role.

Jennifer Rebeiro

Jennifer Rebeiro

City West Water

Jennifer Rebeiro is the Chief Information Officer at City West Water. Jennifer is responsible for leading all aspects of Technology at City West Water. This involves ensuring the development and implementation of the digital journey and is a critical enabler of City West Water’s Business Strategy and Achievement Culture. With over 20 years across diverse industries, Jennifer has gained excellence in transformation, project management and change management.

Stuart Craven

DELWP

Stuart started working in the Major Projects Division and he was involved in projects such as the Goldfields Superpipe, Gippsland Water Factory, North-South Pipeline, Eastern Treatment Plant upgrade and numerous recycled water projects.

Since 2009, Stuart has played a role in governance oversight and relationship management between water corporations and the government, dealing with a number of high profile issues. He also had a role in establishing the Intelligent Water Networks Program.
